Ivan the Great, the Circus Strongman

He was born in a very noble family, but after the October Revolution joined the circus and fled from the Soviet Russia for good. He was a very gentle and not very handy boy, so for a few years just took care of the circus animals. Hard work developed his muscles. The circus director noticed the changes in the young man and offered him to perform as the strongest man on Earth - Ivan the Great.

The amigurumi was created for a circus contest. Do you think I should write the pattern for him?

The end of the year has been very fruitful. My US friends are celebrating Thanksgiving today, so, I decided to use this official occasion to give thanks as well. I'm thankful for:
- the depression which I managed to fight without medication, because now I know what the dark days look like and wake up every morning feeling grateful for "it's not that day",
- the new wonderful people I met this year, and old wonderful people who remain in my life, in joy and sorrow,
- the crocheting opportunities which appeared unexpectedly and which I realized to their full extent,
- the people who have been supporting me in my design journey, especially Rhondda and all lovely ladies and gents using the patterns I created to make somebody happy.

Thank you all for everything! I love you.

    1. Aw, thank you! So, the pattern is destined to appear then. It's going to take me a bit longer now since, I suspect, I might have thrown all the scrap-notes away :)
